No I didn’t forget to take a picture yesterday; I got home pretty late and decided it could wait until today.
I met up with two of my friends from the old hood last night in Toronto to take in a Jays’ game. Patrick managed to get some time off and make the long drive down from Owen Sound (Chatsworth actually) and Scott trekked in from Brampton – I was working downtown already so I didn’t have too far to go š
We met up at Shoeless Joe’s on King for a little pre-game drinking and food (it is stupid expensive inside the Skydome and we didn’t want to give them any more money than absolutely necessary) before wandering down to the dome. The seats that I got were pretty fab (if I do say so myself) – row 34 in the 100 level right by 3rd base.
Unfortunately the game went to hell pretty quickly with the Jays being down 4 runs to the Yankees by the bottom of the 1st inning – the final score being 7 – 1. It didn’t really both us though – we had a blast.
Hopefully we will do it all again September 7 at Scott’s new place.
